Greene County has instituted the Hyper-Reach Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas of the County in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts. Examples include: tornado warnings, evacuation notices, chemical spills, bio-terrorism alerts, boil alert notices, and missing child reports

Volunteers Needed for Deer Management
Beavercreek Township is seeking qualified bow hunters to help control the deer population at Pershing ‘Neatherton’ Park (44+ acres) located at 1101 Fairground Road, and at McCalmont Park (66.57 acres) located at 1940 Indian Ripple Road. Three (3) hunters will be selected for each area by the Board of Township Trustees.

Sulky Trail will be closed between Blacksmith and Bandit beginning 17 August with a completion date of 19 August between 07:00 and 15:30 for asphalt repairs, the road way will impassible in front of 2142 Sulky.

The Greene County Combined Health District will be spraying or fogging for mosquitoes over the summer. They ask that you not follow behind the sprayer unless absolutely necessary; if you do, maintain a minimum of 200 feet clearance behind the vehicle.
