As written by Frank B. Zink, "Beavercreek Township is one of the original four townships in this section of the state. It extended as far north as Lake Erie. It is a beautiful valley, fertile, well timbered, rolling and picturesque. It is noted for its fine farms. The high ridge separating Beaver Creek and Mad River is a particularly fine fruit section." Beavercreek Township encompasses 50 square miles of Greene County, and is bordered by Fairborn, Xenia, Sugarcreek, and Dayton.

    The Beavercreek Township Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing at the Beavercreek Township Community Room in the lower level of the Fire Station located at 2195 Dayton-Xenia Road on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.

    Residents impacted by the tornado who have insurance questions can call the Ohio Department of Insurance at 800-686-1526. They can give them information on how to file a claim and answer any questions free of charge.

    Use of Portable Generators After a Storm

    The recent tornado and storm damage that occurred on Tues., May 26, 2015 has caused power outages. If your home is effected by a power outage and you choose to use a portable generator, the Beavercreek Township Fire Department would like you to follow some basic Generator Safety Tips:

    As Memorial Day Weekend approaches kicking off the unofficial start of summer, backyard chefs everywhere are dusting off their grills, eager to spring into the long-awaited barbeque season. This holiday and summer season, the Beavercreek Township Fire Department recommends that grillers pay particular attention to safety, especially in June and July, when home fires involving grilling fires occur most often.
