The Birth of the City of Beavercreek

The Beavercreek Historical Society cordially invites you to join us for a special program:
The Birth of the City of Beavercreek

Tuesday, April 24, 2018 7:00 p.m.
Peace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall
3530 Dayton-Xenia Road
Beavercreek, OH 45432

"The Birth of the City of Beavercreek" will be presented by long time Beavercreek resident, author and Beavercreek Historical Society member David Shumway. He will present his somewhat personalized and well-researched account of the fascinating and acrimonious process of the 18-year struggle (1962-1980) by which Beavercreek became one of Ohio's most unique cities and eventually Greene County's largest city.

If you did not live in the area during that time, you will find the story quite amazing; if you did live here during that time, you will find it quite interesting to recall the various events of the long birthing process.

The program is free and open to the public.
