Fire Station 63 Fire Alarm System Replacement has been awarded to Saturn Electric
Question: What program do you use to monitor the alarm system?
Answer: The fire alarm proposal should provide 3 normally closed dry contacts to the fire station alerting cabinet in the IT room. 1 Alarm for supervisory, and 1 for trouble shooting signals. The alarm provider will not need to interface with any software.
Question: What are you requiring for the new fire plans. Do there need fully re-engineered and stamped by a NICET certified architect, or can we use the floor plan you provided and add a new legend and cut sheets for the proposed replacement?
Answer: You may submit the sta 63_1998 Electrical Dwgs with fire alarm deviced_1pdf with your NICET stamp. You may not submit the placard drawing as part of your proposal.
Per Beavercreek Township Fire Department, heat detectors are not required in the apparatus portion of the building. Existing heat detectors should be removed, and existing boxes covered with a plate.
